Question: I am an engineer eligible for the Golden Visa. Do I need a minimum salary of Dh30,000 to get the long-term visa?

Answer: In response to your inquiry, it is presumed that you work for an organization that is based in the emirate of Dubai. If an individual is designated as an engineer under classification level 1 or 2 of the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) occupational classification or by any designated free zones in the UAE, they may apply for a UAE golden residency visa. The individual’s engineering degree certificate duly notarized and legalized in their home country and subsequently by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, a salary certificate attesting that the person’s monthly income is not less than Dh30,000, and a copy of their passport and visa page are among the additional requirements.

Foreign talent can live, work, or study in the UAE with the Golden visa, which offers long-term residents special perks. Those who qualify for the Golden permit include entrepreneurs, investors, scientists, outstanding students, recent graduates, front-line heroes, and humanitarian pioneers. Find digital services to apply for the Golden Visa and read about its requirements and advantages.

Accordingly, if your wage meets the aforementioned criteria and is at least Dh30,000, you may apply for your UAE golden resident visa. However, you can get in touch with the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai for more information.
