Established as an asymmetric torus adorned in glass and steel, the Museum of the Future has garnered recognition from National Geographic as one of the world’s fourteen most aesthetically pleasing museums. Architect Shaun Killa deserves recognition for designing the structure to symbolize Dubai’s aspirations for the future.
The museum’s exterior is visually captivating, further enhanced by its skillful implementation of Arabic calligraphy that serves as glass windows. They are inspired by verses by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, as envisioned by Emirati artist Mattar bin Lahej. One of the three quotations that encircle the facade translates as follows: “Those who are capable of envisioning, designing, and implementing the future will own it. It is something that one must create rather than anticipate.

Ticket reservations for the Museum of the Future

Children under three, individuals of determination accompanied by one caretaker, and senior citizens of Emirati nationality are granted complimentary admission to the Museum of the Future.
In order to gain timed admission to the Museum of the Future, you must select a timeslot during the inquiry process. To obtain your permits, plan to arrive at the museum 15 to 30 minutes prior to your designated time; a delayed arrival will prevent access. The museum is conveniently situated near a station on the Red Line of the Dubai Metro.
